We have made some recent adaptations to the EPGP system to make it fair and promote gear upgrades.
1. We have made 245 gear from TOC25 cost 50% of regular GP (amicably called Sloppy Sundays)
2. Raid leaders will assign 30EP per boss in 10 man ICC and 10 EP per 10 minutes in 25 man ICC. If a group works hard to progress and downs a new boss that the other groups haven’t downed they will receive 30 EP for those efforts rather than put in large amounts of EP for time spent. We do not want one group to pull ahead of the others. Our loot system exists to gear the guild evenly so that we can progress through 25 man raids.
3. People who bring their alts to raid are now only eligible to receive half EP so that they are rewarded for their efforts but don’t pull too far ahead of everyone else.
4. People upgrading an item that is less than 10 ilevel difference will only receive 25% of the GP provided no one needs the upgrade. If two people both want the item regardless of the ilevel difference, they can offer to pay full GP to compete. The following is a chart of scenarios that you may refer to that should allow you to understand when you can get something for 25% GP
| Situation | Outcome |
| You have 245 bracers and can upgrade to 251 bracers that no one else wants. | 25% GP |
| You have 245 bracers and can upgrade to 251 bracers but Poptya wants them too and also has 245 bracers. You have higher priority and Poptya does not want to spend full GP on them. | 25% GP |
| You have 245 bracers and can upgrade to 251 bracers but Poptya wants them too and also has 245 bracers. You have higher priority and Poptya wants to spend full GP on them. | You can either pass to Poptya or offer to spend full GP also |
| You have 245 bracers and can upgrade to 251 bracers but Poptya wants them too and he has 200 bracers (booo). You have higher priority than Poptya. | Because Poptya would have to spend full GP on the bracers you have to offer full GP to win them. This is to promote getting people who need bigger upgrades to receive them first. |
If you have any questions, as always you can approach one of our officers. ICC, ICC2, and ICC3 are all currently using the EPGP system. If you need to change your raid time permanently, please speak to a raid leader and they will help you work something out if possible.
